We're dedicated to keeping you involved in the way we work and the neighbourhoods that we continue to develop. It's why we have a Resident Involvement Strategy, to make sure there are many ways and levels for you to get involved. Whatever time you can give, we're sure there's some way you can be a part of building our community together. If you'd like to be involved with any of the following, please fill in our simple online form.
We also have free internet kiosks at our Northenden and Baguley offices - so you can easily find out more about what's happening in your community when visiting our offices.

Parkway Voices is our growing database of over 500 residents who
want to be consulted with our business. You can choose which area
you'd like to be consulted on. For example: allocations and
lettings, repairs, tackling anti-social behaviour, rents, tenancy
management, or dealing with empty properties. Just
contact us with
your details and we'll make sure you're a part of
your Parkway Green.

Our board has 15 elected members. Five of these are Tenant Board
Members. The board meets every two weeks to discuss strategy,
operations and business decisions. These decision-making roles are
open to all tenants each year. If you have a good knowledge of your
local area and share our passion for improving homes and
neighbourhoods, and you can commit to regular reading of board
papers, why not
apply?

These are independent groups throughout Wythenshawe, which
discuss local housing and wider community issues. They also include
our staff. Meetings are usual one a month, in the morning, afternoon
or evening. The Chair of each association passes information to and
from our organisation.

The Committee meets every two months and reports to our Board. It
includes a representative from each of the Residents' and Tenants'
Associations, made up of a number of Parkway Voices. As with Board membership, this involves a regular
commitment to attending and reading documents. The Committee makes
sure we keep to our standards, values and objectives by reviewing
any service changes that we make, benchmarking with other local
services, and setting targets. You can show your interest in joining
at your next Tenants' and Residents' Association meeting.

The way to get involved with local issues and to make sure we're
doing well in your neighbourhood. The panels meet every month for an
hour or two, usually in the morning or afternoon.

These panels usually focus on one area of our work (for example,
repairs). They also contribute articles to the Parkway newsletter
and approve its content. They meet every three months, in the
evening, usually for a couple of hours. They also require members to
read documents before meetings.

If you're a leaseholder, and you want to discuss any issues that
affect your leasehold, you can join. Meetings are every three
months, in the daytime or evening, and usually last for about an
hour.

The Parkway newsletter is delivered every three months to keep
everyone up-to-date with events, issues and achievements. If you'd
like to write for the newsletter - whether it's a local good news
article, or an issue you feel passionate about - please let us know.

We have two groups that meet once a month. The one you join will
depend on which area of Wythenshawe you live in. These groups meet
at Parkway Green House to help direct our £9million investment in
improving your neighbourhood.
We have two kinds of walkabout - one with our Executive team and
one with our Neighbourhood Officers. You're welcome to join either,
and take the opportunity to talk about your neighbourhood, and show
us where you'd like to see changes.
These happen throughout the year, in the daytime. These groups
focus on particular areas of our service. We send regular invites to
these, so look out for them on our website, in our newsletter, or
fill in our simple online form (and we'll let you
know when the next one is taking place).

Mystery shoppers are Parkway Green residents who help us to test
our services, and make sure that we're keeping to our Customer
Service Standards. To become a mystery shopper, you'll need to
attend a training day at Parkway green House. The tests happen
throughout the year and usually take up no more than an hour of your
time.

Residents and staff usually meet twice a month, in the daytime.
The group looks at all the issues that are affected by our Equality
and Diversity policy, and work to improving equality and diversity
within our organisation.

Residents and staff meet every month, in the daytime, to review
and monitor our business. Together, they make sure we continue to
provide value for money with our services.

We carry out surveys through out the year - online, by post, and
face-to-face. These give you the opportunity to let us know what you
think, and how you rate our services, quickly and simply.

Held once a year, usually in November, this day-long event is an
opportunity to meet staff and other residents, to review our
achievements, and to discuss future improvements.

We hold competitions throughout the year, such as Wythenshawe's
Got Talent and our gardening competition. You can find out about these on our
website and in The Parkway newsletter.
