TPAS Connecting People Awards 2009/10

Do you know someone who has made a difference to your community? Someone who understands the needs of residents and delivered real improvements in the local area?

If so, the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) want to hear from you! Over the past two years, the TPAS Connecting People Awards have recognised and rewarded those tenants and staff members whose excellent work has transformed communities up and down the country.

This year there are six awards up for grabs:

  • Tenant of the Year
  • Tenant/Resident Involvement Officer of the Year (Landlord)
  • Tenant/Resident Involvement Officer of the Year (Contractor)
  • Best Practice in the Community
  • Best Practice in Supporting People
  • Best Practice in Youth Involvement

If you would like to nominate someone you know in any of the above categories, please visit the TPAS awards website. Each award will be contested in three regions: North, Midlands and Southern. There will be an awards dinner to announce the regional category winners, who will then go forward to the final in August 2010. All nominations should be submitted by Friday 18 December 2009.
