A firm of Surveyors, Savills, has been commissioned by Parkway Green to undertake a sample Stock Condition Survey of the housing stock.

The reason for the survey is to check the information we hold about your property and to help us in deciding the future repairs and maintenance needs.

They will also be checking the property for the presence of materials that may contain asbestos and, where suspected, will take a sample for testing. (We would expect this will only apply in a limited number of cases).

The survey commenced on Monday 11 January 2010 and will be completed by the end of March 2010. A surveyor may call at your property during this time and, if so, we would be grateful if you could let him/her in. All surveyors will be wearing a Savills identification badge and will carry a letter of authority from Parkway Green.

Always ask to see the surveyors badge and letter before letting them into your home. If you have any questions or concerns, please phone us on 0300 111 0000.

We would stress that you should not take time off work, or wait in for a surveyor to call. If you are not at home should a surveyor call, he/she will simply go to a nearby property to complete a survey there instead.
