your home.
Now that it's illegal to smoke in enclosed public areas, there's a ban on lighting-up at our offices and in public parts of our flats and communal blocks.
A few people are ignoring the ban - even though it's a crime, and offenders risk prosecution. We've put prominent no-smoking signs up, so feel free to politely point them out to anyone you see smoking.
Of course the new law doesn't stop you smoking at home. But for our staff, your home could be part of their workplace. So we're asking you not to smoke in any room they're working in, if they politely ask you not to. Thank you.
