Parkway Green Housing Trust is in the middle of the annual free service and gas safety check covering all of its properties in the West Wythenshawe Area.
As an incentive for tenants to allow access on a first time appointment, each tenant who keeps to their first arrangement is entered into a prize draw held every two months.
The latest winner to receive her £250 cheque is Mrs. Eileen Callaghan from Northern Moor who said "The engineer was a lovely man, who came when they said and did a great job".
Parkway Green's Director of Asset Management, Ian Gregg, says "We introduced our reward scheme to help reward support for this crucial work and are delighted to see an increase in first time access for gas servicing, as a result of this initiative. We have to take no access very seriously and will seek court action as necessary when we cannot get into homes".
Parkway Green is now carrying out gas servicing in the Brooklands area.
