Respect Information Team

Parkway Green Housing Trust has put together a new Respect Information Team which will visit all of the Trust's properties in the West Wythenshawe area over the next 18 months to help build up a profile of the area, concentrating on customers' views on anti-social behaviour.

The new team of three will be carrying out customer profiling and feedback exercises on the Parkway Green estates for the next six months.

The data they collect will generate reports which will help Parkway Green build an overall picture of the types of nuisance that residents suffer, the target areas and whether they are happy with how it's dealt with and where it may need to improve.

Parkway Green's Respect Project Manager Zara Rudkin said: "This will help the community as we are looking at ways we could improve our service. We will target hotspot areas and gather information, and if we find out about any anti-social behaviour it will be reported to the Community Safety Team for them to take action. We will also work closely with other agencies and feed back to them though local tasking meetings."

One of the new members of the team Michael Green said: "I am looking forward to helping the community and Parkway Green by building profiles of anti-social behaviour in the area, which I believe, by listening to the residents, will help make West Wythenshawe a better place."

The jobs have been created as a result of a successful Future Jobs Fund bid. The Future Jobs Fund, part of the Government's Backing Young Britain campaign, aims to create 170,000 job opportunities primarily aimed at 18-24 year olds who are long-term unemployed.
