Top man goes back to the floor

Chief executive Nigel Wilson has been out and about - seeing what our staff do day-to-day and hearing first-hand from people like you who use our service.

Every month he mucks in with different teams - from environmental officers to electricians, from gas engineers to workers who make empty homes ready for new tenants.

It's all about senior managers getting out from behind their desks and seeing Parkway Green, and its customers, at grassroots level.

Eye-opener

"I'm seeing our business - and your service - from lots of different perspectives," Nigel says. "If Parkway Green was a car, these staff would be the engine; without them we wouldn’t get to where our customers are!

"It’s been a real eye-opener. I've worked with different staff teams and listened to lots of tenants - the people who really are at the heart of our business”.
