Tenants can win £250 in gardening competition...

Calling all green-fingered residents...enter our gardening competition and you could win £250.

We have launched our annual gardening competition with an eco-friendly twist for 2010.

Judges are looking for environmental awareness amongst competitors and will award extra marks for features such as water butts, wormeries and composters.

Now in its fourth year, the gardening competition awards cash prizes from £250 to £100, and £25 vouchers for young people.

Awards are given for the best garden, communal garden, home owners' and leaseholders' garden, tenants association and neighbourhood officer nomination for front gardens only, and a young person award for people aged up to 16.

The deadline for entries is July 16 and the prizes will be presented at Parkway Green's tenants' conference.
