Bounce into summer: it was smiles all round at our summer fun day
Local people had a sizzling time at our special summer fun day on Friday 25 July.
There was lots to do for all the family at the community get-together at Brookway High School in Brooklands. From a bouncy castle to face painting, from a 'play your cards right' game to ballroom dancing. The fire service put on a spectacular display, and there was no shortage of volunteers to give our chief executive, Nigel Wilson, a good old soaking!
The building companies we use to carry out our multi-million pound home improvement programme were all on hand to answer questions and give out information, not to mention free gifts and prizes.
Our investment manager Gaynor Whiteley helped organise the day: "We want to invest in, and get involved with, the community," she says. "The summer fun day was a great example."
