11,905 pupils from across the city improved their school attendance last year and 1,502 of these were from Wythenshawe.

In Wythenshawe we want every pupil to have good attendance to improve their chances of getting good qualifications and a well paid job in the future.

 If you are one of the people who improved your attendance last year we would like to congratulate you! We would also like to congratulate the people who helped and encouraged you to get in to school.

September brings all pupils a fresh start and the chance to make every effort to attend school every day and to achieve 100% attendance. 90% attendance might sound good but it is the same as taking half a day off school every week. In Wythenshawe we believe 90% attendance is just not good enough.

Let's all work together this year to make sure every Wythenshawe pupil attends school every day!
