Welcome to Parkway Green Careers

Parkway Green Housing Trust is a not-for-profit 'local housing company' which manages homes in Baguley, Brooklands, Newall Green, Northenden, Northern Moor. We currently look after 5725 properties.

Independent body

Parkway Green was created by tenants' reps and the City Council to deliver an exciting package of home improvements, and top-notch housing services - like ordering repairs and collecting rent. It's a completely separate and independent body; although it works in partnership with the council on many issues - like tackling antisocial behaviour.

Parkway Green has invested over 90 million pounds over the last 4 years to pay for vital improvements to bring all housing to the government's 'decent homes' standard - and beyond.

Who runs Parkway Green?

A board of 12 volunteers makes the policies and plans for Parkway Green, setting its wider aims and objectives and making sure that the staff working day-to-day are meeting standards of service.

There are five 'tenant board members'. They have equal decision-making power with the five board members nominated by the Council - councillors and senior staff - and with the five - 'independent' board members who are people with specialist knowledge.
