Our standards are designed to treat you and your application fairly and efficiently

When you apply for a home we will:

  1. Give you clear information about your prospects and options of being rehoused before you make an application.
  2. When you register, give you information on the category you have been placed into, explain how to make bids and tell you roughly how long you might need to wait.
  3. Give you a right of appeal for all decisions including category placing and suspensions from the waiting list.
  4. Visit all our existing tenants who want to move to help with completion of the form.
  5. Offer an office appointment to all applicants by Manchester Move Partners or a home visit if the applicant is vulnerable.
  6. When you have been offered a property, inform you when it will be ready to move in to and of any major delays.
  7. Accompany you to all viewings.
  8. Offer advice, support and facilities to help you place bids.
  9. We will measure these standards by: mystery shopping and performance reporting to Neighbourhood Performance Panels.
