3,000 up . . . and counting!

Friday 22 February 2008 was a special day in our multi-million pound improvement programme. It's when we celebrated home improvement number 3,000; putting us firmly on course to meet our target of upgrading every Parkway Green home within the next few years.

The sparkling new kitchen and bathroom - installed by our building company partners HT Forrest at a house in Northenden - brought up the special landmark.

The work at Coppice Drive took only 15 working days, and was marked with a special celebration and visit from local MP Paul Goggins.

Delighted

Tenant Patricia Moores is delighted: "I am pleased with all the work" she says. "Your workforce have all been wonderful. They have answered all my questions, explaining things to me. I want to thank them and tell them how much I appreciate all they have done."

Mrs Moores is not the only one happy to see work ahead of schedule. Tenants in Spinney Woods, Baguley for instance were expecting their new windows and doors to start arriving in April 2008, with the estate due to be finished by March 2009. But we started work well ahead of schedule in January 2008, and expect to finish by July 2008.

There's a knock-on benefit for everyone - we can start many upcoming improvements earlier too. We'll contact you with the good news if you can expect some work ahead of plan.
