Your PG React team is taking over gas servicing from 1 April.  And we’re making our Gas Prize Draw a monthly occasion.

A new kind of service

From the 1 April, PG React will be carrying out our gas safety checks. All of the PG React team are members of the new Gas Safety Register (which replaces the CORGI register). They'll be taking over from Sure Maintenance team, who’ve  been carrying out these essential checks (and doing a great job) for the last three years. Just as before, we'll let you know when we’re calling. And we’ll always show our photo I.D.

What the check involves

Every year, we'll visit your home to check all your gas equipment and smoke alarms. The check is free. Our PG React engineer will be able to give you peace of mind and advice on cutting your heating bills.

Let us in and you could win!

If you let us in the first time we come to check your gas supply, we'll put your name into our monthly prize draw. If you’re the lucky winner, you’ll get £100.

Let us in or face the fine

Around 30 people die each year from gas-related poisoning or home fires and explosions. It’s why our gas checks are so important and why have to be strict about carrying them out. So if you don’t let us in to do your gas check, you'll be putting you and your loved ones at risk. You'll also risk losing your home and having to pay £750 court costs.

Who are PG React?

PG React is our friendly in-house team of fully-trained fitters, fixers and engineers. Since taking over from Manchester City Council in July 2008, the team has continued to hit 99% or 100% of its targets.
