Borrowing gardening equipment

Some tenant and resident groups have 'garden tool loan schemes'. Local people can borrow gardening equipment from the group, usually for a small weekly cost.

They have things like lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, spades and rakes. It means you can keep your garden tidy without having to buy expensive gear. Here is a list of groups with tool loans that have a scheme.

Does your local group have a scheme?

If your group has a scheme, contact them to find out how to borrow the equipment. But if there isn't a scheme in your area, why not ask your local tenants' group to set one up? Your group will need to contact us to talk about how to pay for the equipment, what to buy and where to store it.
