Rent service: standards

When collecting rents we will:

  1. offer you a range of ways to pay your rent
  2. contact you within a week of a missed payment to see if we can help
  3. set up and agree an affordable repayment plan with you if you are in arrears with your rent
  4. offer you debt advice or refer you to another agency that may be able to help you if we can’t
  5. provide a quarterly rent statement to you and further statements upon request within a week.

We will measure these standards by: mystery shopping and performance reporting to Neighbourhood Performance Panels.
