The standards you can expect

When a home becomes empty we will:

1. visit the property within 24 hours of getting keys to check what needs doing and order any repairs
   
2. complete works to all empty properties in line with our lettable standard (available separately)
   
3. make property secure if necessary to reduce risk of crime
   
4. when the property is accepted by an applicant, keep them informed every week as to when the property will be ready
   
5. where we are carrying out noisy or disruptive work to an empty home, let neighbouring properties know before we start the work.
   

   We will measure these standards by: mystery shopping and a quarterly focus group of new residents.
